Hey all, I'm just trying to figure out how a failed morale test works with hive cult.
Each time a Morale test is failed for a unit with this Cult Creed, until the end of the phase, halve the number of models that flee that unit due to failed Combat Attrition tests (rounding fractions down). In addition, units with this Cult Creed can still shoot in a turn in which they Fall Back, but if they do so you must subtract 1 from their hit rolls in the Shooting phase of that turn.


So in a sample scenario I failed the test, 1 model flees, then I roll 1, 1 for the attrition. Rounding down I lose only the one from the failed morale.

Second scenario, I fail a morale and roll no 1s, does the failed morale model still run or does the rounding fractions down cause the model to stay? Or is the morale test model excluded from the count of combat attrition tests?

When you fail the morale test 1 model runs away, that always happens, no matter what you roll for attrition. The round down part is only for combat attrition.

As above. It specially tells you to halve the number that flee due to failed COMBAT ATTRITION tests. Failing the morale check is NOT a combat attrition test.
