Adrift within the vortex of my imagination.

I don't know if we have an Epic Games free games list heads up. If not I will start one. I have n RPG session on Patreon every Thursday and it is normal for one of us to remind the others to pick up their free games.
So in case you didn't know Epic Games has two free games every week, these can include shovelware, these can include major titles. I signed up to Epic to get a free copy of Subnautica, and didn't play it for over two years, but loved it when I got around to it. Other titles I lapped up were Alien Isolation, it was one for one day last Christmas and I was a bit salty I missed it, but was released for a week earlier this year.
Many titles I ignore completely, a friend of mine just claims the lot, want them or not, and I see logic in that. I don't want so much clutter and only pick up the ones I would want to play or an curious about.

Anyway Defence Grid. It's a tower defence game, my favourite after Don't Touch My Gems, but has better graphics and no paywall. Highly addictive gameplay.

Do yourself a favour, pick up this game.

Now also free this week is Verdun. It looks good, and I did pick it up, but the futility of Western Front WW1 gaming doesn't make for entertainment to me.

n'oublie jamais - It appears I now have to highlight this again.

It is by tea alone I set my mind in motion. By the juice of the brew my thoughts aquire speed, my mind becomes strained, the strain becomes a warning. It is by tea alone I set my mind in motion.

Seconding the Defence grid call. Its a lovely game with satisfyingly bizarre and snarky voice acting from your AI "assistant".

There is a sequel as well, that is just as good.

Please excuse any spelling errors. I use a tablet frequently and software keyboards are a pain!

I'll third this, the helper AI is wonderfully silly
Spoiler:
(and as it turns out rather tragic too)
