With the release of a new Ork Codex and the promise of a Mega Battle on the horizon I have decided to tackle the ‘largest’ project in my mountain of shame; a Stompa that has gone unbuilt from 2015 from when I last lived in Scotland.

As a true Mekboy I have decided to have it mod’d up and have cut an opening in the belly for some extra Dakka! Still trying to find the gun to place here....

Really hope that my love for building nothing straight out of the box does not derail my attempt to bring Mork or Gork to life in time for the MB.

Hoping all of you can help push me bring it to the finish line. Plan to show the progress.

Maybe some PVC pipe inside another PVC pipe with smaller/bigger diameter as the barrel and some sort of riveted muzzle to go at the end?

Just don't make it look like a giant shlong on accident

Looking forward to seeing what you come up with.

Argive,

I know right!

That is totally why I did not go for the between the legs mounting like the old Gargant model.

You can’t unsee it once you see it!

Well he is a Gargant after all, the biggest of the lot.

Update;

After many other trials with other cylindrical objects for guns and some thought of a missile based based belly gun (rejected for looking too weedy) the end result is in the attached pics.

The gun mount is magnetized for converting back to a normal Stompa configuration.

Have also magnetized both of the arms for later conversion hi-jinks.

Note that I had to skew the gun mounting so that it would point ‘ dead ahead’ as the opening is slightly off-centre.

Nice and aggressive. If there's any room left, you could add some kind of piston or recoil system to make it a little beefier.

Ask yourself: have you rated a gallery image today?

To Nobody!

Great thought. Was thinking the same. Definitely in the works at the moment.

Was also thinking about a aiming system like a telescope.

Had to fit the and sorts centre the gun first and let the epoxy for the bits fix or setup overnight.

наклон орудия? останется по диагонали вверх?
возможно стоит сделать несколько стволов как на картинке с Gargant?
нужно добавить деталей на ствол орудия. квадратики или треугольники - клыки. пружины можно.

Thinking the same. At the moment we are far from finished. The plan is to detail the barrel with triangular dags, a gunsight or telescope and possibly recoil tubes. Will see what fits.

Думаю так же. На данный момент мы далеки от завершения. План состоит в том, чтобы снабдить ствол треугольными крестовинами, прицелом или оптическим прицелом и, возможно, трубками отдачи. Посмотрим, что подходит.

Sorry it has Ben a while since the last post.

Have some updates on the progress of the belly gun. Added dags, a Dakka glyph plate recoil tubes and a very special Orky ‘Tummy Tickler’ chain bayonet.

My thanks to those that made some suggestions. Keep’em coming!

Also working on some modest mods to the arm cannon at the moment.

Progress to date.

Feeling like it is coming together nicely and in time for the upcoming mega battle.

Enjoy the pics!
