Dragonbond: Lords of Vaala is a game for 1-4(5-6 with expansion) players pitting mighty dragons and mortals against each other and together in a battle for magical power in the world of Vaala. It features an AI system so that you can have more players than there are people, even down to solo play.

This is the big physical product that Draco Studios/Lair have been working toward for some time now, having done several previous KS campaigns for 3D print versions of the models and also physical plastic models of the large dragons and 5th Edition RPG playbook (which you can also get through this campaign in extras). For those aware of their other campaigns there's a summary at the end which shows that the majority have or are right now delivering (mostly the only delays I'm aware of are related to shipping due to the container shortages in China right now)

I've bought into several of their previous 3D printing campaigns and the models they design are really good, the dragons in particular are fantastic models. Note that this campaign does add a good many new models that aren't yet sold in STL format, and if you're after them they've said that there will be ways to get them coming after the KS campaign. So chances are there might be a My Mini Factory campaign or similar for the STLs of many/all of the new models appearing in this. Along with the already 30+dragons and 4 armies they've already released in STL format
If you're interested you can see their 3D print work on this game as well as others on their MMF site https://www.myminifactory.com/users/LAIR

Their entry level price point for this game is really good at only $49 for the first level to back and for that you get the core game and a fairly hefty expansion as well!

I don't think I've ever seen a Chinese dragon style hydra before. Pretty interesting design.

Yeah that is one that I'm very keen to see! The Lair team (esp through Numenera) have done things their own way a good few times like that and I like that they push at creativity to give something that isn't just straight out of Lord of the Rings/DnD/Warhammer

And things have been moving! They've done a summary update (they do one most weeks) which after updates from their other games, includes some great showings of the models and some large upscaled ones of the bigger creatures - including that dragonhydra!

They've also been shifting around a few of their stretch goals and putting their community stretch goals into place
A lot more detailed info in the latest update

Importantly the $95K Stretch goal (unlocked) now unlocks 6 new models in the free model pack

The $110 goal (which is only $2K away now) is

If someone said to me 'What's the 3D print market really lacking right now', I'm not sure I'd say 'Dragons, bro!'

The sculpts are....uninspiring for the most part. The price point is good, but I'll give this one a pass.
