So I’ve asked a lot about Sisters of Silence army lists recently to no avail, so I guess I’m gonna have to do this alone. I promise this is the last time I will plague the forums with a question regarding them.

Is it currently legal to use:

Witchseekers/vigilators/prosecutors?
Talons of the Emperor: Valerian and Aleya?

I think they are in Battle Scribe and they are definitely on Wahpedia... I don’t own the Custodes book so I can’t check anything there.

Also, are Forgeworld Adeptus Custodes units 100% legal to use without opponents permission?

My ideal army would be a mix of the above and I don’t want to shell out $$$ if I’m gonna have issues on not playing a legal list.

(No other army seems to interest me right now... despite having access to the Beast Snagga Box)

Talons of the Emperor wrote:If your army is Battle-forged, units with the SISTERS OF SILENCE Faction keyword can be included in an ADEPTUS CUSTODES Detachment in your army, without preventing that Detachment from being an ADEPTUS CUSTODES Detachment. Note that this does not prevent ADEPTUS CUSTODES units in that Detachment from gaining any Detachment abilities (e.g. The Emperor’s Chosen and the Sworn Guardians abilities), however SISTERS OF SILENCE units cannot themselves gain any Detachment abilities. Similarly, those SISTERS OF SILENCE units are ignored for any rules that state all units from that Detachment must have at least one Faction keyword in common (e.g. in a matched play game) and when determining your army’s Faction.

Either of these rules will get your Sisters into an army.

How about the Forge world Custodes? Are they all legal for GW games?

Why wouldn't they be? They're <Adeptus Custodes> like anything else.

And being in the compendium is what makes them legal/free to use?

The fact that they have 40k datasheets.

There's no restriction on using models anymore; unless your maybe playing with an retro-edgy group with a houserule.
