If he hadn't been killed, there is a possibility that he might have become a daemon prince like the rest of his traitor brothers. Whether he wanted it or not might be irrelevant, as Angron didn't ask to become one. If this had happened, how do you think things would have changed? Would he fall to a particular god or be Undivided? Would the Night Lords have remained more united and/or fully fallen to Chaos? Personally, I think that a daemon Konrad would largely shun the rest of his brothers, only appearing out of the warp from time to time to randomly terrorize Imperial targets. I'm not sure if he would even have bent the knee to Abaddon. The Night Lords I think might have remained relatively scattered, but with slightly more organization. Tsagualsa might have become the Night Lords capitol and a daemon world, and the Night Lords themselves would probably have become more corrupted simply due to proximity to their primarch.

There are a million directions things could have gone. Going off of what we see with other daemon primarchs...

* The NL would probably be a bit more centralized. The Thousand Sons, Word Bearers, and Iron Warriors seem to have a bit more cohesion than other legions, partly because they either want to be near their primarchs or else their primarchs actively call upon their legionnaires from time to time. Even the Emperor's Children, relatively scattered, sometimes show a bit more cohesion when Fulgrim reaches out to some of them.

Then again, the Night Lords seem to hate their brothers more than most legions do. Maybe bringing too many Night Lords together at once just leads to more marine on marine violence.

* Daemonhood seems like a tricky fit for Curze. It's implied (if not outright stated) that it takes a lot of energy to bring a daemon primarch into the materium and keep him there. That's usually worth it when you're having Magnus perform world-shattering feats of magic or when Fulgrim is wrecking an enemy army single-handedly. But Curze likes to sneak around and take his time taking dudes out. So I imagine he'd probably stay in the warp more often than not. It seems like physically manifesting would only really be worth it if you want him to pull off a miraculous assassination or possibly to pollute a world with nightmare vibes. But then, CSM are usually pretty good at both of those things on their own; especially Night Lords.

* I don't seem him becoming more friendly with his brothers or the gods as a daemon. I see him brooding over his own little pile of daemon worlds rather than going off to complete quests for the chaos gods or what have you. Maybe he would occassionally catch wind of some "injustice" and run off to torment some planet in an effort to address the issue.

ATTENTION
. Psychic tests are unfluffy. Your longing for AV is understandable but misguided. Your chapter doesn't need a separate codex. Doctrines should go away. Being a "troop" means nothing. This has been a cranky service announcement. You may now resume your regularly scheduled arguing.

Curze seemed to want everything dead, including himself. He would have been a good fit for Malal if he was canon!

After his death, the Night Lords got into a typical succession crisis, with different guys claiming to be the rightful leader. If he'd stayed alive, it seems logical that this wouldn't have happened, but I actually think that wouldn't have changed. Curze was growing more and more insane as time passed. Going full daemon prince would have probably made it even worse, so it's unlikely that he would have been capable of leading anything. A daemon Curze would probably just roam around the galaxy doing his own crazy serial killer things and not care about his legion.

London

He would have been very miffed. His whole schtick was justified based on a vision of the future. If that didn't come to pass what little sanity remained would have been blown away.

Yeah, the whole point of Curze was they he knew that he was going to die for being an awful person (i.e. living in a skin castle awful), so then went out of his way to show the Imperium and indeed the Emperor that the only way to rule was through fear. No challenge of authority or rebellion could be allowed mercy. The Night Lords becoming fear-loving murderers was a direct result of Nostramo becoming bold enough to send criminals and scum to become Legionnaires instead of good candidates. It's why Nostramo was destroyed because it challenged the authority of the Legion and the Emperor.
If Curze never dies then his excessive violence just becomes boring.

Just imagine something like current Corax (so a shadowy daemon filled with darkness, yeah, some edgy gak like that. It also helps thay Konrad showed the ability to transform into shadows on at least two or three occasions), but where there are blades of feathers and talons, Konrad's gonna grow some nasty fangs and leathry shadow wings.
He'd officially and literally become 40K's psychotic Bat-man...yeah it's not just Batman, but Bat-man.

The Night Lords might still have torn themselves into warbands, because from novels like Lord of the Night, Conrad seemed to act at times as if he had multiple personalities and give contradictory messages. This led to several different people claiming to be his successor, such as Zso Sahaal who claimed to carry on Conrad's message of the terror being only for a greater purpose (while others said that was all a lie, even a lie that Conrad told himself).
