Got my first tournament tomorrow and just finished up my outriders completing the list so thought I would share some pics.

They are just basic tactical marines with a power fist on the seargent.

Only thing I think is missing would be chapter and squad markings.

Yeah will get round to that eventually, need more practice with transfers first.

Microsol/set are your friend. Or other equivalent products. Game changer for dealing with decals. I’ll never go back to just water.

Got 1w 2l with 198vp over the three games. Good standard all round with loads of 70+ rounds often on both sides and I ended around mid table.

Played deathwatch and scored 80 vs 56 first game, my best performance by far!

Horde infantry guard second round lost with 56 vp against 80 odd unpainted too! I did 74 wounds worth of kills for no prisoners but alas not enough.

Third round lost 85-62 against T'au. Underestimated the bodyguard units for my blade of sanguinius secondary and he just played really well. I play T'au myself too so didn't expect such a panning.

Now to sort out what i need to paint for 2000!
