After posting some scatter terrain in the showcase https://www.dakkadakka.com/dakkaforum/posts/list/800061.page i took some WIP pictures of another one i've been building to show the process.

The panels on the silo are cut out from a cereal packet and glued on.

Some gubbins were glued to the top of the silo and the whole thing was given a coat of primer.

Airbrush was used to pre-shade the panels.

Airbrush was used again to apply basecoat.

Panels were masked off and stripes were added.

Some dark sponge chipping was applied to the panels and lighter chipping applied to the stripes.

An oil dot filter was applied to the panels to create some streaking/ uneveness.

And some enamels were used to add some rusty streaks from the areas of chipping.

Gives a subtle grungy weathered look to any terrain panels. Could also be applied to weather larger vehicles.

The Polito form is dead, insect. Are you afraid? What is it you fear? The end of your trivial existence?
When the history of my glory is written, your species shall only be a footnote to my magnificence.
