So, Ive been away for some years now.. My favorite thing to do is conversions.. Now I can see that there are some kind of super space marines (primaris marines?), that a lot of people base their conversions on.. That leaves me with a couple of questions..

1 - How do regular marine parts fit on Primaris Marines?
2 - What are the best Primaris kits for conversions? I put a lot of weight on dynamic poses and spare parts

My end goal is to make some cool Primaris Space Wolves

Depends on the marine/bit. Some of the later normal marines have enough scale creep that things like arms are close enough. Same with weapons.

Heads and shouldepads are cross compatable, although some primaris use terminator pads.

Check out the assault intercessors as a base if you want dynamic.

I keep working on my OG marines. I figure they have been lost in the warp and far from Bobby G and Cawl, now allied with my new additions to my old Sisters collection and inquisition forces, and regard new marines so called primaries as heretics… so we hunt them, ridicule them, and treat them like the bastard stepchildren of heresy that they are…

Regular Primaris (ie Intercessors, Outriders, etc.) can use regular Shoulderpads.

Primaris in Gravis Armor (ie Heavy Intercessors, Eradicators, Supressors, etc.) use Terminator Pads

A lot is bit dependent. For example, the swords from the ravenwing accessory sprue work well on primaris. Some powerfists, other assorted things. It really is a tack them on and see how it looks thing half the time.

My bits box dates to the dawn of time, and while I wouldn’t put a RTB01 arm on a primaris, a lot of the grubbins still work.

I see what you mean, but I really love that they keep looking better and better when they release new minis

I feel you on the setting advancing and vast change recently , I hadnt played since 4th ed.

It's like coming back to a sea of heresy and change :')

There are some really cool new minis, though it seems odd when youre used to the old stuff.

You can get away with most hand-held items, because there's little difference in hand size. A regular marine bolter sorta looks like a pistol on a Primaris marine though.

If you like converting you should be able to fit most things with a bit of work. Torsos and legs will be most difficult but I don't see why you'd need them anyway with the new stuff.

I have a fair bit of the old stuff too, as stated: "guaranteed" are heads, shoulder pads and most tools / weapons.
The last generation of marines before Primaris's arms seem to work and many add-on items seem to not be affected by the new scale.
I find my really old metal figures seem to look really odd next to the new stuff.
I was using the exposed hair Reiver masks on the last generation of scouts: those guys had such huge scale creep they look like pre-primaris guys anyway.

Mixing and matching seems to work best between:
- The Intercessors, Assault Intercessors and Hellblasters.
- Infiltrators and Reivers.
- Eradicators and Heavy Intercessors.

Bonus:
A spare chest plate from the Primaris Redemptor Dreadnought fits quite nicely over the Invictor Warsuit's "roll bars" at the front (looks much nicer).

That "should" get you going.

Good luck!
