Did lord of wars get a point update some time ago? Do one not cost you 3cp anymore? And do they get keywords? I know there was some talk about it, but I do not remember.

Is the monolith any good? Back in 5th edition they where almost unkilkable. And as bad as the old codex was, you could pull of neat tricks with it. Pulling models out of combat and movement shenanigans. I understand people use planes to put reserved units into combat now. That is neat.

Do the monolith have some merit? Or will it just live in dreams?

If a Lord Of War shares keywords with your Warlord, the Super-Heavy Auxiliary detachment refunds some CP. I forget the exact details, but it was in an FAQ.

They always get the Keywords, but unless you take a full Super-Heavy Detachment (not just the Aux one) they do NOT get subfaction traits.

The cost of the detachment reduces from 3 to 1 CP under the circumstances JNAProductions has outlined.

It's fine for solid Lord of Wars - such as the Lord of Skulls, or Greater Brass Scorpion - but it won't make a subpar Lord of War - such as the Monolith - any more playable.

Still can't get Dynasty traits.
Which is BS for most LoW are subpar points wise for what they can do.

The command point reduction for super heavy auxiliaries only applies to games which are played with the GT2021 rules. This is not an general rule and not a FAQ.

Other than the two Daemon Primarchs, all other LoW are currently don't worth their points cost. Monolith in particular is just trash.

should be 240 points again. Then it would be cool with Skorpekhs
