Magnus has the ability :

Unearthly Power:
You can re-roll Psychic tests taken for this model. Each time a Psychic test or Deny the Witch test is taken for this model, add 1 to the result (if this model has 10 or more wounds remaining, add 2 to the result instead).

Does is stack with :

BROTHERHOOD OF SORCERERS :
- Add 1 to Psychic tests taken for this unit.

So on full health Magnus would have +3 to Psychic test on full health?

I don't see why it wouldn't.

Yes, not the same rule so it stacks.

Agreed. But only if magnus is in the supreme command detachment. In a SHAUX he never gains detachment abilities. Brotherhood of sorcerers is a detachment ability.

The only place where modifiers are limited to a total of 1 is in Hit Rolls and Wound Rolls.

So for saves, psychic tests, charge rolls, anything else-you can stack as high or as low as you want.

Clocks for the clockmaker! Cogs for the cog throne!
