GW recently changed DTTFE to :

Each time a model with this ability makes a melee attack, a hit roll of 6+ scores one additional hit.

Abaddons WLT is :

First Amongst Traitors: The Death to the False Emperor ability triggers an extra attack on rolls of 5+ instead of 6+ for models in friendly BLACK LEGION units while they are within 6" of your Warlord.

What happens when i roll a 6 ? I score an additional hit, and i get to make an extra attack ?

It's propably an oversight of GW.

RAW i think you are right, but it's most certanly intended to just give an additional hit on 5+.

Honestly this doesn't seem insane so I'm not even inclined to say it's (much) of an oversight. You get an extra attack on 5's and an extra hit and extra attack on 6's.

I wouldn't bother to run it personally cause that's the kind of bookkeeping that makes my head hate playing this game, ha.

No, it's obviously an oversight. They just needed to say DTTFE operates on a 5+ Instead of a 6+ and that would have been enough.
