Subject: [KS] Valiant & Vile- 3D printed modular heroic and corrupted knights 48 HOURS LEFT!
Adamant Arsenal has a kickstarter campaign for a GIANT assortment of modular 3d printed bits to make both heroic knights and gnarly messed up corrupted ones, plus a few sci-fi themed parts as well, with the chance of even more scifi bits showing up!
Let the models do the talking!
Here are some of the bodies for the corrupted knights, which are COMPLETELY compatible with the heroic styled valiant ones.
A selection of regular weapons, of which there are quite a bit more without including the stretch goals
Some of the corrupted weaponry, with a few of the grimdark future weapons that are already available-
And my quick preview of some sample pieces if you want to see-
I had a chance to print a few sample bits and it was enough to make me an instant convert. There's a ton of options already included, and the stretch goals look to add in even more. As I'm typing this the campaign is already basically funded, but there'll be options for hero models, magical unit options, pets, mounts, more weapons, more options, and even some larger scale golem- like models... in addition to a lofty goal of having a full compliment of grimdark bits.
The Makers Cult is also going to be having Adamant Arsenal as a guest modeler this month with even more futuristic grimdark parts available to their Patreon supporters. Might want to check that out.
I only tend to really post these things up on Dakka if I really like them, and I'd like to think I have quite discerning tastes. Buy in is reasonable for what you'll end up getting, and if you enjoy the customizing and kitbashing aspect of 3D printing, I think you'll find a lot to like here as well!
Already funded and the guns and musket goal for the normal guys is unlocked.
It's a really versatile kit. With a bit of tweaking you could run shrink them down to sneak into historical games, or pump them up a bit and they can function as just about every variety of Stormcast, and would work as a nice block of heavy infantry or artillery across a variety of game types.
Plus there's actual artillery stretch goals down in there somewhere as well.

So this campaign is bouncing along quite smoothly and unlocked a whole lot of bits.
I'd agree that there's much more hardcore modular kits out there, which also means printing even more tiny little parts. Personally I hate printing tiny little bits that such modularity would ensue.
While I can appreciate that degree of freedom it gets to be a bit overkill at points for me.
For me it's the breadth of options that have been offered and sculpted.
Speaking of getting sculpted, the first stretch goal of valiant firearms are finished for now-
And that's just the start of things!

So this one is wrapping up, tons of stuff unlocked- mounts, command bits, mages, artillery,
units, a wide assortment of add on bits that continues to grow...
A small visual representation of what's been sculpted... so far.
Some close ups of just a few Valiant bits we've seen so far. There's still a bunch of this sort of stuff coming for the corrupted models, and these are all compatible as well!
Adventuring bits-
Tilt Shields
Knightly helmets and plumage
Wrist weapons and more decorative pieces
Scabbards and holsters
