Hello, If you were to place a color name to Citadel's layer color Word Bearers red, would it be maroon? I am trying to be very specific here, for a project. Does somebody here actually know the color's name? Reason why, is I am doing Horus Heresy color Word Bearers and am looking for a good spray paint...I purchased Montana Black Spray Paint Maroon ( I added a picture)... I feel this is pretty close to the mark.

If you need an exact match, it should be possible to find an automotive spray supply store that can custom mix cans for you. Hand them a sample object painted in the word bearer red and request a match.

Although I wouldnt worry too much about it being exact. Go for close enough and just keep it consistent across your collection, itle look fine.

Another option if you really need the exact colour. Get an airbrush and spray the exact colour.
