How do!
So I’m like, kinda old. Ish. A mere 41 years old, but I don’t feel it.
I’ve been involved in this hobby since 1989, when Mumsy and Daddykins bought me Heroquest for my 9th birthday. That….pretty much sealed my fate, and I regret it not on iota. Not even whatever happens to be smaller than an iota, because I’m not actually sure how small an iota is.
Anyways.
My not unreasonable demand.
Eldar Deserve A Rogue Trader Era Style Series Of Sourcebooks. Stuff in the same vein as Waaaargh The Orks, ‘Ere We Go, Freebootaz and the two Realm of Chaos books.
It’s frankly a travesty that one of the “founding father” forces of 40K in its infancy didn’t get one. And now, 32 or so years later, it’s high bloody time we got one. Just like Waaargh The Orks, sod the rules. Just give us an Eldar sourcebook.
And given how loyal their player base has been? More than one. Or I shall poop through GW’s letterbox the night after 12 pints and a Prawn Curry.
Eldar deserve better.
No. I don’t play Eldar. That’s how you know I’m serious,

Was there any sourcebook-style stuff in Jes Goodwin's The Eldar Collection?

I *think* those were purely sketches and notes.

They got an extensive write up in White Dwarf, and a section in the 40k compilation... what more do you want?
And in that small, perfect jewel of a write up, some of the best artwork from the 40k stable. the concept sketches and stuff just really spoke to me, also as an up and coming 40k sprogling in the very early 90s

Nah, Elves aren't special.
Now, give the Squats that treatment when they return - they deserve it.

As above, I think the Compilation is the best we're gonna get.
Also don't say 41 is old. I'm 42

Well, in '89? I was the guy selling your Mumsys and Daddykins Heroquest.

I would think if Eldar deserve anything it would be a range of models that aren't old enough to drink.

If it makes you feel any better, at least you were selling the best game ever.

You're not. If you're worried about your opponent using 'fake' rules, you're having fun the wrong way. This hobby isn't about rules. It's about buying Citadel miniatures.

Yeah, I've sold that as well as Heroquest.
