I've bought Black Site Studio's horror game, Don't Look Back. In it, the players control characters and the game runs a Killer. Think Halloween or Friday the 13th, or Nighmare on Elm Street type stuff.

Black Site Studio (BSS) makes fantastic MDF terrain and resin figures, and has published a few games including Don't Look Back.

Anyway, I've gotten a bunch of figures for the game primed, and started painting the first 4. 3 characters and a killer from the base game.

Got basic flesh and hair on the characters and the killer is about 95% done. All will go on clear acrylic bases.

I'll update my progress in this topic/blog, and give some pictures of terrain as well. Eventually will add game sessions.

Be gentle, these are the first figs I've painted in over 4 years, and I'm trying to knock them out quickly to run the game at a local convention in January.

Not new, just haven't been painting or playing for the last few years. New to this particular game.

Okay, found a bit more time to paint today. Bloodied up the killer a bit, worked faces a tiny bit, and did quite a bit of work on a couple of the characters.

Made use of a new painting handle I picked up on Amazon. I like it.



Probably too much blood. Oh well.

Calling him done at this point. Not perfect, but good enough.



Though still not great, her face is better. Without the ZOOM in from the picture she is at least good enough for the table.

Finished up another victim and based all on clear bases.

Tore up a hand three weeks ago, so have not painted in a while. Felt good enough to day to try out some low complexity/low detail figures:







They look pretty good at arms length distance, but s I look at the pictures they're a bit rough. Oh well, they'll do.

Finished up the Greys and their Strange Lights. The set comes with some MDF markers for the lights, but I wanted something better. Not perfect but I like how they came out.







I have a couple Reaper Bones flying saucers ordered. I need to use one to make a crashed UFO terrain piece for these guys (needed in one of the scenarios).

Finished up Ranger Sandy form the core box.

Finished up the last figure, Holden, from the Don't Look Back core set.







So now the whole core set is complete, 6 characters plus the Killer.

Looking great! Seems to me that if they Don't Look Back right now they'll completely miss the killer coming after them though!

LOL. I got a couple more to take pictures of this weekend. Gourdreaper 2 (some pics in the Speedpaint thread) and Boxcar Willie.

Okay, Boxcar Wille, kind of a Leatherface character finished with Armypainter Speedpaints. I'll post a note on it in the Speedpaint topic as well.

Reaper Bones flying saucer, spare bit of real thin plywood I used to base some Wild West buildings, cheap craft paint and some foliage and tufts and static grass. Fun to do.

Painted up some of the Mantic Terrain Crate camp site stuff.



Stuff is okay, good for the price and ought to be very durable on the table. Use the Speedpaints on these. First time I used the yellow from the starter set. Too orange for my taste, was hoping for more of a yellow like on the girl's dress in the picture.

Also painted up Momma Luna, owner of the local Pizza Parlor and a lycanthrope. Still need to paint up her Werewolf version, but am happy with how she came out.

Lycans, grey one is Momma Luna in her Lycan form.

Build and finished up an MDF mobile home from Sarissa I had gotten a LONG time ago. Darn thing has moved with me twice and was never opened until a couple of weeks ago.

Very quick painting and weathering, I know it is a bit sloppy but for the effort I am pretty happy with it.

For the 4th of July, Black Site Studio released a Fireworks Stand with a one handed figure as a bonus. I got mine yesterday and assembled the stand and painted Mark, the owner today. Fun little piece of terrain.

Both VERY quick paint jobs just to get them table ready. Not my best work but they'll do.

Got some printed terrain pieces off of Etsy.

Not bad for the price, and painted up decently, but the lines from the print are pretty noticeable on the pond surface.
