Agreed. Also, if anything, I'd like to see some
MW effects switch to non-mortal wounds. Ex: Any psychic power that has you roll a bunch of dice and does a mortal wound on a 6+ could probably basically be an anti-horde shooting attack that gets resolved in the psychic phase.
I haven't used them much, but I don't hate
HKs on paper these days. If you lean into them and get mildly lucky, they can pump up your alpha strike significantly.
