Subject: Hierodule tail - modelling for advantage?

I ordered a scythed herdule from forgeworld.
However, the body was banged up. Forge world is sending me one aditiponal body.
I think I can recover the body a bit with greenstuf. I could probably buy a tyranofex and kitbash one barbed hierodule. Use 2 legs, the massice scything tallons, a head and 2 rupture cannons as the biocannons. I would need to figure out how to make the base though. As the base is really big. Need to do something about the chimneys also.
However, what I am wondering is the tail. The scything hierdule has a tail that is sticking up. The barbed hierdule has his tail straight. Would it be modelling for advantage to have the tail in the same possition?

Are you altering the model specifically to gain some sort of in-game advantage? That's modelling for advantage.
Are you altering the model for any other reason? That's cool

I am kitbashing the barbed horodule out of the body of the Scythed hierodule (since I got a faulty mold one). But the tail of the barbed hierodule should be flat. Now it is in a 70 degree angel up for nice line of sight.

Sounds if anything like you'd be modelling for disadvantage, if the tail is sticking up when the regular model has it lower. I doubt anyone would complain about it. Can you maybe cut some off the base of the tail to adjust the angle?

I would have zero problem with either hierodule having its tail either up or down

When you are dealing with shooty unit's it's more of advantage. You want to shoot the enemy after all and the tail provides point to shoot the gun from.
But due to obscuring terrain being only terrain really used these days not much of a help. Doubt it causes issue.
