So now with the huge change to Nagash’s Command ability, how do you deal with battleshock now?

Just a noob, trying to figure out this book.

This?
"Death Magic Incarnate: Nagash stands
at the apex of the necromantic hierarchy.
You can use this command ability if this
unit is on the battlefield at the start of the
combat phase. The unit that receives this
command must be a different friendly
Death unit. Add 1 to ward rolls for that
unit until the end of that phase."

If this, I don't understand your question.

Or is there some other command ability/change I'm missing?

Death units almost all have bravery 10, battleshock isn't really an issue for them. Nagash no longer granting immunity to it won't really make a difference most of the time.

My question is basically the Immunity that units had to Battleshock when he was on the field. Now that’s gone. The whole ward thing seems pretty useless to most units since none of them have a ward...unless that’s supposed to be the 6+ save they naturally get?

I’m just didn’t really see any other rules in the book that give that ability.

Got it...thanks.

Then let me ask you this...let’s pick Zombies for a instance. What if they get smashed by something like SCE Fulminators or Ogre Cav, easily loosing 10-12 models, that’s pretty much a wipe right? Not trying to make it sound obvious, just trying to understand the rules.

Depends how many models are in the unit, but they'd loose a few models. Basically they'd loose D6+models slain -bravery (usually 10 for undead), so if they lost 10 models in combat, they'd loose D6 from battleshock (assuming bravery 10). Not enough to kill a 20 man unit.

Undead have to take a lot of casualties before they even care about battleshock (at least 5 slain models).

However, there is the universal command ability Inspiring Presence, which grants immunity for one unit.

Yep. Consider that for that 1 CP that gives you immunity army wide you can make one unit immune ANYWAY. So really it's only going to matter if you suffer huge damage to multiple units. Apart from that the nerf is rather losing rerolls.

And really...zombies aren't THAT big deal. Cheap, invididuals won't be that impactfull. Imagine pain armies with more expensive models with bravery 6-7 feels like You have it easy ;-)

Bonereapers also just flat out ignore BS anyway.

Thanks for all the input guys! Appreciate it. Now I don’t feel so bad about my army faction.
