So for me,

I'd have to go with:

Trajann Valoris
High Marshall Helbrecht
Abbadon
Magnus
Celestine
Lord of Change (Or whatever the giant three headed bird thing is)
Imperial Knights

What do you think are the most praise worthy sculpts in the 40k lineup?

One mini that is often overlooked but for me shines is Lady Annika, The Thirsting Blade when using the optional hand carrying the mask.

One of my favorites is probably boss snikrot, perfect model, though sadly in finecast.

Chaplain w Jumpack is one of my favorites.

Njal Stormcaller has a special place for me. I dont normally like characters in termi armor, because the armor takes up most of the model. But Njal seems to have a little more personality due to the runic staff, raven, and runic armor.

See pics of my Orks, Tau, Emperor's Children, Necrons, Space Wolves, and Dark Eldar here:

Is the Triumph of St. Katherine in contention here? Because if it is, then there's no contest.

Mortarion
Guilliman
Well just about all the Titanic LOW because they're big enough to really pack in the details, but those two stick out - the IG Super Heavy Tanks could be here if not for how easy it is to lose their scale.

Leman Russ Tank.

Dunerider
The Goliath Trucks

Probably Abaddon, he's near perfect in his current iteration. Cawl, Ghaz and Szeras are not far behind, though.

I am a huge fan of Mortarion. The sculpt always impresses me when I see it.

I am also weirdly in love with the new Sigvald sculpt.

I love looking at Cawl. I would not love dragging him around to games. He looks like too many of his swinging bits are just waiting to snap off in a foam case.

It was a masterful job of modeling "flight" while hiding the support structure. The one foot standing on a stick/ruin/rubble/debris is getting a little over-done.

Nagash, Celestant-Prime and the Eidolon of Mathlann are also some nice flight without flight stand models. Ghosts, robes descending in to celestial energy, and a cloak turning in to a tidal wave.
