Hey everyone! These models from the Assault on Black Reach box set are the first models I ever painted, well them and the Space Marine counter parts. There is one exception and that is the nob standard bearer which was bought separately The deffkoptas are missing from these pictures, I did paint them but recently decide to rebase them to the new bases the deffkoptas are supposed to have so I will add them as soon as they are done

Some backwater sump

For first models they look great! Good brush control and solid coverage.

For your next step, I'd suggest some kind of wash for the yellow parts, especially the hair and wrist wraps and stuff like that.

You might also consider some patches of static grass for the bases, just to break them up a bit.

Yeah, they are actually better than I thought they would be I guess, but there is a clear lack of shades, contrasts, highlights and details like no drilled barrels and the bases could sure use some love

Saying that though they sure were the pinnacle of what I was able to produce 6 years ago
