Howdy, I've been painting/modeling minis for awhile but never actually had the gumption to make a list. A few things about this list:
- I am not 100% certain on how the mustering rules work together, so please let me know if I have misunderstood anything.
- This list uses models I either have or think would be fun to kitbash/scratchbash and really I lean towards "fun" over "competitive." Don't let that dissuade you from telling me something is hot garbage or has a better replacement.
- Since I haven't played a ton of 40k, I am fine leaning towards using CP to muster rather than focusing them all on strategems, as that's less things for me to remember and/or screw up once the game starts.

Patrol, Evil Sunz
HQ (145pts): Beastboss on Squigasaur

Troop (202 pts): Beastsnagga Boyz (12)
-Nob, Dedicated Trukk

FA (120 pts): Stormboyz (10)
-Nob, Klaw

FA (90 pts): Megatrakk Scapjet (1)

Patrol, Deathskulls
HQ (100 pts): Warboss
-Kustom Shoota, Klaw

Troop (190 pts): Boyz (20)
-Nob w Kombi-Skorcha, Slugga/Choppas Boyz

Elite (80 pts): Kommandos (8)

Elite (245 pts): Tankbustas (10)
-Nob, Bomb Squig, Dedicated Trukk

FA (115 pts): Grot Mega-Tank
-Skorcha, 1 Rokkit Launcha, 1 Kustom Mega-Blasta, 2 Twin Big Shootas, Big Shoota

HS (210 pts): Gunwagon, KustomJob-Da Boomer
-Killkannon, 4 Big shootas

Questions:
-1497 Points, I think, if I did this correctly.
-Are Subkulturs still a thing? Not sure exactly how they work/worked. Could the GrotMegaTank have been CheekyZoggers without wrecking the Deahtskulls benefit for the rest of the detachment?
-Guidance on which to make the Warlord and how to select WL options?

Maybe swap the Gunwagon for a Kannonwagon?
You lose T8 and one big shoota but gain 60" range and it costs less points.
New codex has specialist mobs so no Subkulturs.
WAAAGH!-wise it doesn't matter wich boss you make the warlord, he just needs to be alive when you declare it.
I have been using the beastboss on squigasaur with Brutal but kunnin trait and either Beasthide mantle for survivability or Headwoppas' killchoppa for krumpin.
You can use CP to give the other boss a relic and trait as well. Da killa klaw works nicely and 'Ard as nails is good for surviving the footslog to the enemy lines.

Thanks for the feedback. I was using the GunWagon w/ Da Boomer because I have a model that I am working on converting that has a comically large cannon. The Kannonwagon still works for that conceit and costs less points, so definitely a good swap. The GrotMega-Tank suffers from a similar fate (it may be suboptimal, but I have a model that I am making for it that I enjoy).

Thanks for the tips on the bosses as well.

Do I understand that in the newest set of rules you cannot have 2 different Kulturs? If so, I'd probably combine into a battalion and run them all as Deathskulls for the gun support (tho I do miss out on the Evil Sunz to get the melee stuck in faster).
