So for my imperial guard project I'm using victoria minis arcadians for the bodies, her weapons, and currently a mix of arcadian heads, anvil boonie heads and anvil plain heads.
This has worked great so far, but now I've hit the dilema of having used all the boonie sculpts and wanting more that aren't all the same. I'd also love to find some female heads in boonie hats.

Failing that, does anyone know any easy ways to sculpt boonie hats?

Seems that boonie would be incredibly easy to sculpt. Like a reverse mushroom with winkled edge.

Don't know any companies of top of my head right now but I am sure there are at least 2 or 3 with good boonie heads.

I think not many of them are sold is because they just don't look cool. Boonie looks like it is something you wear for a fishing trip, not for an epic combat.
Even-though in real world that is probably the most useful headgear for soldiers historically speaking too, but they just look lame.

Pig Iron make a range, and I have always loved pig irons quality.

They also do caps, bare heads and ballistic masks in male and female versions.

Puppet war also do boonies in their 17 pages of alternate heads

Please excuse any spelling errors. I use a tablet frequently and software keyboards are a pain!

Have you looked at these?

The resin is easy to work with, so you should be able to de-hat them without much trouble.
I've lopped off Mad Robot hats before.
