So, I've been experimenting with a bunch of rust and verdigris effects on my Games Workshop Death Guard army for a few years now. And while this model isn't complete, it is in my current weathering approach. It's as close as I've gotten to my goal so far which is a "Heavily Weathered/Oxidized" army theme.
What I'm looking for is a critical eye on both how convincing the oxidation appears, and if I have enough contrast between the silver, bronze, rust and verdigris. Finally, I'd just like some feedback on if the theme looks good or not. I'd like to improve and need more direction. These pics are from models I have previous painted in a similar scheme.
The finished product looks good. I think the Blightkings look the best out of the bunch as far as the weathering goes. I wish I could articulate myself better as to why.
