Junk terrain. Great containers depending on the size. One upside down could hold a liquid resource or be a cryo capsule for instance. Get several of the regular size ones and you have a cryo pod bay for human size beings in 28mm.
I cut a slit in the lid of one of em and use it to dispose of dull hobby-knife blades and other sharps. Tape the slot over and chuck it in the trash if it ever gets near to full.
Paint handles. Just use the lid and double sided tape. Have not tried weighting the whole bottle, but that would give a larger grip area. I do have a proper paint handle now, but I still do this for assembly lining mooks with basic paint jobs.
