Hey all,
This tread is going to be about the random things that I paint, bash or sculpt over 2022(ish). It will probably be mostly 40K as that's the drug I abuse the most
Having said that, there are two Blood Bowl teams on the way. My focus this year is to try and get through my back log.

The first squad out of 3 of Ogryns. Classic Ogryns. I have had these guys kicking about in various states for over a decade so I'm quite chuffed to finally make some headway on them.

Zombie Ultramarine. I kit bashed this for my son after his DG started eating the brains of my Ultras. Counts as a Pox Walker

Hassle Free Rennie and Tilda. Probably my favorite miniature manufacturer. I was going to do these with an inverted colour scheme but decided not to in the end as it just didn't look right when I tested it.

More to come...

Thanks for looking

Hey all,
Quick post of my 2nd(I think) edition human BloodBowl team that I picked up from a friend recently. Nothing fancy, just some paint on some old minies.
I tried to do the blue with contrast paint but it really does not like the lumpy surface texture of metal miniatures so ended up layering as usual.

Elven Union team coming up soon

Hey hey,

Some more of my backlog cleared. Some old plastic Grots. I'm not sure what edition box set they are from.

Just for fun. Here they are with the rest of my Grot/Gretchin collection
Spoiler:

Thanks for looking,

Hah, thanks Icelord. My backlog is kind of old yes. I have so much metal waiting to be painted. This year I have been trying to clear some of the unpainted stuff I have collected over the decades
For tonight I have a slightly more up to date model. Ork Deffkopta. I don't know why but I decided to paint him as a Blood Axe. Not sure how I feel about it, the rest of my orks are black and red with no specific Klan affiliation.
It is the first out of three which are all Ebay rescues.

As always, thanks for looking

Hey all,
Tonight it is my other, other 40k passion - terrain building.
I have been gluing bits of cardboard together since before I can remember. One of the first pieces of 40k terrain that I built was from paper mache and toilet roll middles for my newly acquired RTB01 space marines. I painted the whole thing beige. It was ugly but I loved it.
I keep meaning to get some of the legit 40k terrain as it looks awesome and incorporate it into my scratch builds.

I have kept the paint job simple: old concrete, rusted metal and old wood. I tried to add little details here and there to add a bit of narrative to each piece.

Unknown liquide pumping station. Built from kids toy pipes and wall switch box things..

Spoiler:

Waste incinerator. The big fan is from my GF's old hair dryer and the eagle is part of an old GW dog tag styled name tag that I got from somewhere.

Spoiler:

Groupe shot.

As always. Thanks for looking

These buildings from recycled parts are great, I especially like the textures of rust and concrete.
