Hi all,

I am in the planning stages of making a drop pod/ drop ship for my 40K titans. The first one that I am going to tackle is one for a Warhound Titan. As I am ‘printing’ my titans it’s going to take a while to get all the pieces printed and then prepped before I even think about starting to assemble and paint them. So in the meantime I would like to begin work on the pod/ship. I have LOADS of ideas swimming around in my head, I’ve googled and searched far and wide to see if such a thing exists in the lore, but the closest I have come is the description of a ‘coffin ship’ on Davin. I can’t seem to find any images for the types of pod/ships used to ground deploy the titans so I have fixed on a central idea for the one I want to make….

My question is, are there any current owners of Warhound Titans on here (40K scale) that would be willing to provide me with the height, width and depth of a Warhound please? So I can get on with making the pod/ship while I’m waiting on the printer. I’d be looking to make a ‘door’ big enough that the warhound can pass comfortably through it in the first instance…. I just don’t want to invest a lot of time and effort into making a model that is either too small for the titan or woefully to big to be ‘realistic’

If anyone is interested in my rough drawn plans I can post them here too.

Many many thanks in advance!!!

This is a crazily insane project, you should absolutely share your progress and your first plans here on dakka !

I unfortunately do not have a warhound (yet), but you should be able to pose the printer files in blender or even a slicer program to start taking measurements no ?

Good luck with this beautiful project, hope you picked one of the big printers ^^
