Hello guys,

I have taken a look at the webstore a while back and noticed the absence of Firstborn SM HQ choices such as Captains, Chaplains, etc. Are those models being repackaged or is there another explanation?

They should be there - I can see the Company Command box, Chaplain & Librarian in the UK. The named characters are currently in Range Rotation.

Same for the German page. Not sure what this is about.

There is a single version of a Chaplain, Librarian and Techmarine to be found. Techmarine is accompanied by servitors and not separately available. Captain only comes along within his command squad. Furthermore they are all footsloggers. No version of terminator armour, jump pack or bike for sale. Just a couple of years ago you had a vastly greater selection of models. This is just... piss poor.

Range Rotation chief. It's not a "piss poor" selection of models when Space Marines have more models than multiple factions combined even after GW removed loads of the Firstborn Marine heroes. If you really want a Terminator Captain there are plenty of second-hand places to go.

Apart from the still available options from GW direct, there is also Forgeworld, using models from the HH range (GW and FW) as well as conversions. Blinging up a Terminator or Biker is not that hard, neither is adding a jumppack to an existing model.

Then there is the fact that some of the models are "hidden" in other ranges: the Terminator Captain is still part of the Deathwatch range, Blood Angels have a TA Librarian. And yeah, the likes of 'bay exist for dozens of older sculpts.

The Terminator Librarian is also still in the Grey Knights Combat Patrol, so finding someone who bought multiples should net you one of their extras.
