Hi,
I'm new to the HH game system but have had an iron warriors army for a while, just to collect and paint the models. But with this new edition I'm branching into actually playing it and I am struggling to find some units rules. I have some Basilisks and Medusas but cannot find rules for them anywhere. (I have the rule book and Liber Hereticus) am I missing something or do they not have rule/ will they be getting rules?

thanks for any help

They don't currently have rules - we're hoping they'll be in the upcoming "Legends" PDF.

The Iron Warriors rite of war has a restriction that lists 'Arquiter, Basilisks & Medusa'.... so I guess they are on the way.

The rumour is that there were certain units that the rules writers weren't sure if they were allowed to include. Its believed that the artillery pieces will be in the upcoming Extra Units PDF (not Legends BTW).

Yeah, my bad - it's Legacies not Legends:

These will all be supported by Legacies of the Age of Darkness, free downloadable PDFs which contain rules for old Forge World models that aren’t at present planned to return to the current range, so you can use your existing models in the new edition.

They'll either be in the legacies PDF or possibly somewhere they can be accessed by multiple armies. I've noticed all the units that were available to every army like the lightning and the artillery tanks are gone, so perhaps they'll be reprinted in one place with different crew options to allow for easier FAQing and streamlining. They'll definitely be in as they're featured in the example battle pictures too. Until then I would proxy them as arquitors

They might show up in Liber Imperium this fall, with a caveat that allows you to bring them in your Astartes armies for a cost. Stuff like Baneblades and their variants, artillery, etc.

I have mixed feeling about these. Super happy we got them, but almost all of them seem super MEH and slightly over cost but overall not to bad.

To many unpainted models to count.

Honestly, the changes to Havocs are good. Don't get me wrong I liked the old Havocs but hot damn were they insanely good. These ones aren't nearly as "auto take" as the old ones and I like that.
The one thing my group has noticed is how expensive all the Superheavies are and it prompted me to do a check for costs in HH 1. Nearly all the SH got a points increase across the board of 100pts on average with the Mastadon and the Thunderhawk being the exceptions, while Typhon's and Cerberus's both lost the SH vehicle type.
Having played at a fair few events and from experiences in our own group, I welcome this. SH were far too prevalent in the last edition of the game and hopefully, we'll be seeing less.

We got back Rylanor! YES! I'm mostly happy with this, just need to print it out and get to work!

If thats the case i really hope that means knights got an increase as well...not because i hate knights just means i can roll with my knight army and not have to worry about another model.
