80-100 page codex on painting tips, with clear pictures on the difference between dry brushing (What Pros do with ease) and rubbing a dry brush with barely any paint on the model (What I seem to do) Or full graphical overlays of how to gauge and predict shadow on a model. (This always pissed me off about videos, they say "look at all the great high lights and shadows" while shining a 200 watt bulb on the model so everything looks the exact same).

Seriously. Just a clearly laid out book on model painting, or properly blending colors. Or even how to properly tip your brush.

Books on how to effectively list build, with tips on competitive vs having fun with friends. (Seriously, a lot of this isn't common knowledge. Two people in my FLGS swear by Wardens in their Custodes lists.)

Book on proper ethical play style. (People assume how not to be a jerk is common sense, but parenting has taken a strong shot in the fundaments post covid)

Book on how to deal care for, transport, and maintain your minis. My first ever painted guardsmen were properly varnished, and aside from dust, still look great. Took me 2 years of painting before someone told me what varnish was.

Book on how to properly run a GW store, and not be the cringiest guy in the universe. Anyone have a horror story about a customer facing employee at a GW store? So does everyone else. I've been called "my dude" enough to feel like I'm 14. Or, worse, talk for 20 minutes with the young female customer and ignore the people at the counter (Might be just a US problem). But seriously, either hire better people, or stop hiring nerds off the street.

Book on how explaining to new players that the GOOD guys in 40k are either the bugs that eat everyone, or the Orks who just punch everyone. Everyone else is a who's who for the Space Nazis convention. The poster children? Mind Enslaved Religious bigots in super bodies. The Eldar? Uber Racist caricatures of Nietzsche. The Guard? Nope.....just nope. The Chaos people made of rape and nightmares? No. It's the Orks or the Bugs. Those are the only two factions in the entire universe for something even remotely similar to a Chaotic Good trope. Both are actively trying to kill and eat all the racists.

Books that tell young people that 40k is not a model to base their world beliefs on.

This is called the Employee Training Manual. I'm sure GW already has such a book, it's just not for sale.

I don't think these two would sell enough to justify the meeting to discuss them. So don't hold your breath.

Then give them away for free, so we can beat people over the head with them every time they start saying nonsense about the Imperium being a goal instead of a horror story.

One of their light walkers carried a weapon of lethal effect. It fired a form of ultra-high velocity projectile. I saw one of our tanks after having been hit by it. There was a small hole punched in either flank - one the projectile's entry point, the other its exit. The tiny munition had passed through the vehicle with such speed that everything within the hull not welded down had been sucked out through the exit hole. Including the crew. We never identified their bodies, for all that remained of them was a red stain upon the ground, extending some twenty metres from the wreck.

Yeah, they have done a lot of these, have them in WD's, and even videos....

They also have videos how to play their games, examples how to list build in a few places.

Why would they want to help hobbyists any more than they already do? They just need us to buy the models, the paints and the tools, then we can bugger the hell off. In the days of old, GW always encouraged their customers to "find their own way" with the games instead of being bottle fed 100%, why would this have changed?

Because engaged customers continue to buy stuff.

Most of these sound like topics of White Dwarf articles.
Most of these today are usually done via YouTube tutorials, too. And I think even GW knows this.

This would not be cost effective & would surely be used to justify the next wave of price increases.

If a picture is worth a thousand words, then a video is worth a million. GW has over 800 YouTube videos covering modeling and painting for everyone from beginners to experienced modelers.

Not necessarily. A static image doesn't suffer from compression artifacts, can be shot under studio lighting, can have annotations overlaid on top of it, etc. Videos are great but sometimes a single picture can be worth an entire hour of video.

Free videos beat books you have to buy every day. That's why GW stopped making them.

Yes. When you are starting the game as a teen, there is nothing more helpful, then the idea that in order to learn the game, you should buy another 2-3 books, each for 60-80$. That feeling of losing a box of models and pushing your army collection by months with each of those books, is just the feeling everyone is looking for.

If you have to kill, then kill in the best manner. If you slaughter, then slaughter in the best manner. Let one of you sharpen his knife so his animal feels no pain.

You do understand that the proposed books are optional advice books, right?

(But I'm sure in your alternate universe dystopia Poland your 40k coach won't let you eat unless you buy and memorize the books to improve your team's chances of winning a gold medal in 40k at the next olympics and bringing honor to your nation.)

Actualy in schools here to take part of an exam, you need a book from the courses professor. Then he signs it. Next year , has to bring new books, because if you bring a signed one you get failed in the course, and this means not being able to take the exam. But that is university etc stuff only.

As sports schools goes, yes you have to memorise the official olympic, worlds and local rules. No one wants to invest time and money in to a person which will get disqualified for talking durning a wrestling match, just because they didn't read the rules manual.

Also from what I have been told, there was a time when there was a White Dwarf with pictures of painted models only. It sold horribly, and now we no longer have it. This shows how much need there is for optional material like that.

If you have to kill, then kill in the best manner. If you slaughter, then slaughter in the best manner. Let one of you sharpen his knife so his animal feels no pain.

Warhammer isn't your Thunderdome school.

That is because Warhammer Visions was very bad and it was coupled with the equally rubbish weekly White Dwarf. When White Dwarf went back to being a proper magazine it sold much better.

With regards to the OP, with the advent of YouTube, books telling you how to paint or use the rulebooks aren't really worth it. Something like the old Imperial Armour Masterclass books would be nice to see again, however.
