I have a Heresy themed EC I've been working on for some time. I've also got a bag of heresy era jump packs that look sweet, but I've never gotten to use them.
I'd like to use them on Warp Talons for a very unique look. But, does this look dumber than just the regular Warp Talon look which is already pretty sweet? I need some extra opinions before I duff this up.
I don't think it looks dumb, but the jump pack aesthetic there is much smoother than the warp talon armour that has lots of gribbley bits and raised designs. You could maybe do a press mould for some simple lightning designs, or even just EC iconography to break up the smooth surfaces.
Please excuse any spelling errors. I use a tablet frequently and software keyboards are a pain!
Small update here - once again thanks for the suggestions. I delved deep into my bits box to find some appropriate stuff.
Turns out the curvy terminator bits fit near perfect on the back of the jetpacks to form a 'spine'. The actual warp talon packs cut in half fit perfectly over the end to create a spiky nozzle.
