So they're both chaos? Easy pass for me this year, especially since the content last year was underwhelming

The termi is from khorne.

Articles go up roughly on the hour, and if you click into "All news" on Articles > News and Features it can list them before the main page updates.

Right? We know what they are- the mystery left the building long ago.

Depending on how good they are. this might actually be tempting. I aggressively don't care about apps (they're actually negative value to me, because I hate the effects app-based play has on tabletop games), but model plus voucher plus shows plus vault could be worthwhile, if the models are good. (not having to wait a year is also a positive change)

GW somehow makes the facebook/twitter links live before the article is up on the front page of WarCom (but is still live on the site). Its... weird. Like the WarCom article status automation is five minutes behind, and they've just never bothered to correct it.

They started a while back. If you've not had an email, go to the web store and see if they're showing up for you there (once you've logged in).

I was really hoping that they might say something to the effect of "we will actually spend some money fixing the apps this year" because the half finished TV video apps really felt like they were a Minimum Viable Product that needed another three months work and have had no updates since and Warhammer Vault is basically unusable.

People who had a subscription to the app before WH+ was announced could order the models after 9 months. Everyone else has to wait 12. Mine shows as available to order from 27/8

This time around anyone who takes out an annual subscription can get the new models after the first month though.

They don't even have the army builder portion of the app fixed, which was mostly the reason for the app existing. Not only are GW totally incompetent with technology, they can't even seem to find a contractor that isn't to build out their apps.

Note if you're on a monthly sub you actually have to order the model on the webstore, even though its free - they don't just send it out automatically. I found this out when I logged in to my account to see if there was an estimated dispatch date. I presume it's tricky to automate on the back-end in case people stop and start their subscription or something. I don't know if its the same for annual subs.

Odds are you need to do something seeing you will get email regarding it toward end of month

Chaos terminator does look dope, but on the fence as to renew or not, as current trickle of content has been very hit or miss for me.

Didn't they promise vouchers and more exclusive stuff before though? Or was that just more of the "spend X-amount and get a small voucher later" sort of deal again?

Also, more apps? I'd wish they'd make that stuff Chromebook compatible, then it'd be worth it.

Warhammer+ Year 2? Wow has it really been a year since Warhammer+ released? Time flies..

For me it's been worth it for the white dwarf back catalogue alone. At the current rate of progress they should have every magazine by the end of year three. It will be interesting to see what they do when they reach issues that don't just have gw content in them.

Here in Japan where buying the special mini separately would be more than half the price of an annual sub, it's actually a pretty good deal. I wish they'd just show the full minis. Maybe they are planning another preview show.

Oh my God, get on with it! You can't tease the same model twice and show nothing more the second time than you did the first one, several months before!

I'm somewhat reminded of the current situation with the various SW Disney+ shows that are filming - specifically Ahsoka and Mando Season 3.

We know these shows/models are coming. Stop pussyfooting around and just tell us who's in the cast/what these things actually are. Their existence isn't a surprise, so get on with it. It wouldn't certain save time with actors being forced to give vague answers in interviews/endless silhouette previews for things we already know about.

The "review show" is likely just article. They said you see them next week. Okay would be nice to see sooner but week isn't that long.

I don't follow Disney marketing, but if I were to apply GW's approach to it, Mando is supposed to come in February, which is still half a year away and they have Andor and Bad Batch to hype in the meantime. You could argue it's just the company not getting ahead of itself.

Meanwhile we're two weeks away from people being able to subscribe to Warhammer+ for the second year, and it will be less than that next week when GW wants to reveal the models. It's the most Kirbyesque GW has been about showing models since, well, you know. It's also a completely different approach to what they did last year when they revealed the models as perks of a subscription.

It's really kind of bogus, like Warhammer+ isn't doing well enough and the model reveal a week before year two is supposed to boost it with some impulse subscriptions.
