The model: Master of Possession
Faction: CSM
The psychic ability: Pact of Flesh

It reads: Blessing: If manifested, select one friendly <LEGION> CORE, <LEGION> DAEMONKIN or <LEGION> CHARACTER unit within 18" of this PSYKER.
- One model in that unit regains up to D3 lost wounds.
- If you selected a CORE or DAEMONKIN unit and that unit is not at its Starting Strength, one destroyed model is added back to that unit with its full wounds remaining.

Would be easily resolved by adding “instead” to the last sentence… but it’s not. Does one get both benefits? Or just one or the other.

Thanks in advance.

Yeah, you get both if you choose a Core or Daemonkin unit.

It’s powerful.

It certainly strikes me as very powerful! But seeing as how most people use the example of bringing back a 70pt obliterator, it struck me as possible. Powerful...but very much possible! Thanks your feedback.

This is why Masters of Possession have pretty much become auto-takes. Bringing back 3- or 5-wound models is huge.
