After a long painting session, does anyone else look at everyday objects and see them as a mixture of model paints? i.e that chip in the desk is obviously zandri dust, agrax earthshade, then I'd mix up some ushabti bone and layer that in, etc. It goes on for hours afterwards. Am I lost in the algorithm of painting?

No, not paint wise.
But I see the world in bitz & terrain/gaming options.

Generally after a long painting session my eyes won't focus on something small like a chip in a desk! Getting old...
