The 2nd and 3rd models I've painted since returning to the hobby after 20 years... the paints are totally different and youtube is useful!

Took me an unbelievably long time! Hoping I get a bit faster as I get more practice.

The models are late 90s early 00s era. 2001 at the latest I think. The boy is plastic the tankbusta is metal.

Hey looking nice! I do recommend a wash and some drybrush on the rocks and definitely paint the rim of the base cleanly. Either black or a brown would look great.

Thanks! I hadn't thought about donig a wash/drybrush on the rocks. Something like Agrax earthshade would work? But then dry brush with what would you suggest?

Agrax would work well if you want a brown color to the base.

For a drybrush I would recommend a light cream color, something like Terminatus stone or Ubshabti bone

Cheers! I'll have a go and post back. Planning to rebase them to 32mm anyway so I'll probably do both at the same time.
