Chaos Defiler is an very old product over 20 years old, even older than Basilisk Cannon and Leman Russ Tank. However, even so, GW is still selling it. (just as they always do)

In the 21st century, this model is too ugly to look and overderp. However, GW still shows no sign of make a new Chaos Defiler.

Based on the current model kits, which are suitable for conversion to Chaos Defiler?

For example, the chassis of Mechanicum Onager Dunecrawler is a good material.

My immediate thought is the legs of an onager with the torso of an armiger. Mount the cannon in the center where the head would be, secondary weapons/tentacles/etc where the armiger's arms would fit.

Probably not the cheapest conversion but done right it would look good.

I prefer to buy from miniature manufacturers that *don't* support the overthrow of democracy.

I'd probably go with a biomechanical kitbash, either using Arachnarok Spider legs & bits, or even go with the Swampboss Skumdrekk and fuse it with some War dogs legs & Torse/head thingy.

Just another Wargaming Gal - there are dozens of us.
