First the reference model. I branched out from Brets into DA and then IG circa 2001, so this guy must be about 20 years old.



Since I picked up the Cadia Stands box, I started painting the troops first. I have to say they're very Bolt Action, but scaled up. I don't know, willowy compared to the proportions I'm used to with GW.

The paint scheme test model:





Okay, sorted. Works well enough with the original scheme. I'm not that thrilled with the base, but I do want to use them together (I'll get around to painting the old base rims black).

A garden grove on Citadel Station

The paint jobs look very good, I kind of feel like the basing is letting them down by comparison.

They look great. I reckon if you just gave all of the bases a quick wash of Agrax Earthshade and then a very quick drybrush they would be absolutely fine.
