I appreciate the Overlord is probably impractical, so give us the Iron Eagle Gyrocopter, at least.

Probably something for Kill Team.

Casual gaming, mostly solo-coop these days.

There are loads of them already.

They don’t need a tank on tracks, they could do with a flier and maybe some sort of Walker or artillery. A dedicated combat tank thing with out transport would be cool too. But on wheels.

its fezzik, they keep throwing "controversial" "meme" comments at the wall and hoping one of them sticks, you can disregard them

Personally I would like to have some kind of forward deploying pioneers that are like Ork Kommandos or something. Pioneers off of their bikes that scouted ahead.

Based on one of the more recent rumor pictures that GW put out, it looks like Votann might be getting a skimmer or flier in the future and there's a picture of a small votann flier in the distance on their codex. I think a skimmer would be cool and I hope it isn't a full on flier since those can get out of control quickly like the harpy or admech flier, though.

Aside from that, some type of walker would be cool like a 4 legged miner walker with beams or even some type of ironkin bruiser unit like ogryn are but ironkin.

they have a walker in necromunda already, could simply port it to 40k lol

They did a pretty good job with coverage for the initial range, but I do think we'll see some more units in the future.

My guesses:
-Elite dedicated Shooting style unit. Something not quite as killy as Thunderkyn, but more so than the Hearthguard.
-Jump Troops. Bet we will see some mining Jumpshoots
-Ironkin larger robot. Seems like a given
-Another tank. Probably a similar situation, but I could see an Elite style tank that's got more firepower than a Sag, less than a Land Fortress.

You're right! I think a small squad of around 3-5 as a bruiser squad would be pretty cool. I'm not sure how big that necromunda unit is, but it looked to be about the size of an Ogryn model. Imagine if they were vehicles and the forgemaster could repair them for 4 wounds. So cool.

My best guesses?

A Dreadnought type unit and flyer seem obvious.

What I'm surprised didn't happen? Alternate unit builds for the Sagitaurs and the Land Fortress. I would totally expect them to introduce an add-on sprue, Razorback/predator style, to convert at least the Sagitaur to a dedicated gunboat. This would be a minimum effort add-on.

Add on srue for the Hearthkyn for close combat troops.

the same thing small armies have been getting in recent years: no support and then a fold-in to a different codex. We can't have nice things, we must have more SM Captain variants.

It doesn't matter if you're not dominating the game; if you have 3-4 x as many models and options than the rest of us and you're still getting new kits, we're still gonna rip on the faction. If I had 100 + Drukhari kits all in plastic to choose from, or 100 + Sisters kits, I think I'd be more likely to be receptive to Space Marine player's complaints about anything.

I don't want the best army, just one that isn't an exercise in picking up my models by turn 3.

If I had to guess, it'd just be the regular squad + an upgrade frame for specialists.

I mean, the kit allows you to build pistol/CCW, but the rules (weirdly) don't allow the squad to do that. Seems like it was (dumb) future proofing for KT.
