I painted a batch of these for a fella over a decade ago but never did find out what they were and right now I’m looking for something like these myself. Any idea where they came from?

They are from the game Silent Death.

Silent death space ships, also available from em4, and are widely used as generic ships.

Silent Death is the new manufacturer's website. It was originally a Iron Crown Enterprises game, but they went out of business, and the current owner (who is a die-hard fan) picked it up.

If you like fighter combat, it's a pretty good game.

But it looks like a great game.

Silent Death is an amazing fighter game. Probably my favorite one I’ve played. Damage tracks are simple enough to play with a large number of ships, but offer a reasonable amount of depth. I’m also a huge fan of the to hit/damage system with the polyhedral dice.

I’ve got a chunk of the rulebooks on my shelf and some extensive fleets if you have any questions.
