Hi,

this might be a dumb question, but I'll ask anyway:
on most pics of Skitarii rangers etc. that I see they have those "blocky stripes" on their robes.

Now I have a set of them and there are some decals that look like that, but far to few for all 10. How do you all do those?

Free hand with a brush?
With some kind of pencil?
stencil + airbrush?
custom decals?

I'd do it freehand personally, but then I wouldn't be doing 10. Maybe try to find a decal that's a solid white block, cut out line sections and teeth sections then put them together on the robes.

could you elaborate that? I have a bit of trouble what you mean with "mark out".
Do you mean I should use the Xacto to "carve" the parapet into the plastic to get square "holes" where the white stuff should get in?

yes, depending on your painting skill, you can get away with just marking out the equivalent distance between the parapets on the now painted line, retouch the paint job and blend in the marks with a coat of lahmian medium.
