Hi all

Finally finished the basing on my first two mechs. The Vindicator and Griffin from the new Beginners Box set. Eagerly awaiting Alpha strike amd various Lance packs to do some more.

I was aiming for an autumnal grassland vibe on the base but I think I hit more swamp like. Oh well. Looks good enough for me

Next bunch are up, painted as part of this month’s painting comp.

2 half lances, for variety while painting, and a random merc in a stupid camo scheme that didn’t quite end up as I wanted, but ho hum, finished is finished

I’m also rediscovering my love of the hazard stripe

Next batch is completed. An urban camo lance, with an Urbie best friend, and the rest of the parade scheme mechs to go with the previously completed ones. I tweaked the battle armour models to be Longinus class suits, with a mixture of ready and jettisoned SRM2 packs.

Are these BT kits metal or plastic?

Plastic, except for the ones I printed, which are resin.

A batch of clanners this time. The Clan star from Alpha Strike. These guys will eventually be split into a couple of separate stars when I get the Mercs Kickstarter next year

And here are my two Madcats in their proper markings
