Hey all! thanks for having me here. Im Tam, a pro modeller and Youtuber.

Normally, i do aircraft, armour, etc, but i thought id give Warhammer a go. Please feel free to critique if its constructive.

Please Note: This was not done in the usual Games Workshop ('Eavy metal) style, and its my first try, so go easy on me please!

I like your approach of tossing the instructions! Great production value. I like the end result.

Looks great, and I think it's always good to see people's approaches from different orthodoxies to see if there's learning there.

I think a lot of the techniques you use were "borrowed" by the Forge World painting style tbh, but that was pretty radical at the time.

Thanks for posting! As someone who is migrating from a strictly miniature painting style into more scale modeling style, I always like seeing how modelers approach Games Workshop plastic kits.

If I can offer some critique, the piece could have been weathered even further. Orks construct their vehicles from recycled junk, so you can really go to town with weathering and grime. The panels could have been filtered/modulated to look less uniform, and the builds of Ork vehicles need not be super tidy. Weld marks, extra rivets, and makeshift cabling could have been used to give the appearance of an even more rinky-dinky build, if that makes sense.

OTOH I like how the paintjob is a throwback to a more realistic WW2 airplane.
