I'd actually argue Obliterators. While you say you need range support, Obliterators get a lot more mileage out of both parts of the Word Bearers rules. You can use them as range support, but aggressively put pressure.

obliterators for me. Easier to hide and native deepstrike (free with AoO)
can deal with heavy armor (focused mailice), heavy infantry (ruinous salvo) and hordes (warp hail)
move and shoot without penalty and can shoot into combat if things try to tie them up. if enemy get close can counter charge, full use of WB legion tacts for rerolls to hit and daemon keyword to sync nicely with master of possession and other daemon buffing stuff
doesn't quite have the long range that your las havoks would have I guess but most games in my experience you are rarely going to be shooting from board edge to edge and usually end up with a big scrap in the midboard for objectives to win so range is less of an issue
