I have no idea what kit this comes from.

I think I need to consult a real chapter master.

My guess is, its not from a classic space marine range, because the placement of the pieces is pretty close, and in the older 90s sets, and early 00s, GW wasn't producing such densly packed sprues.

It has a C stamped on it

3rd ed starter box Marines were just the regular Tactical Squad and at the time hands were molded to arms. As has been noted, the sprue cut is too modern for that as well.

The left wrist makes me think this is a more recent monopose model. I can't say I've seen GW use letters instead of numbers either. My best guess, and it's only a guess, is that this is not a mainline Marine model but something like a western reissue (given it's grey plastic) of a Japanese Space Marine series model. I don't own any of those to confirm that theory, though.
