Nice! You got the text on the pauldrons pretty good! Is that blood on the hammer, or just him slacking a bit on maintenance?

Thanks, no blood on the hammer just a bit of silver scratching on it. The basecoat is balthasar gold, I kinda wanted it to be a more of a brass/gold color than steel like the armor.

I managed to snag some oop outriders/pistoliers too, so i'm slowly able to get a few units done before empire gets a full re-release for the old world.

Fair enough, saw the redder shade with the silver wear and thought it was a good color choice, just not sure how to parse it. Looking forward to the horse-boys!

Decided to do the block of 20-30 spearmen in Reikland colors:

test scheme:

I was finding the Nuln colors were a bit too dark on the tabletop. The 10 man detachment should have a nice contrast to the much brighter off white/fawn colors of the Reiklanders though. The Reikland colors are often shown as white in the artwork but described as off white/fawn in the lore, so I tried to create a 2 tone look using wraithbone/rakarth flesh and sepia washes.

Looks good, and the split white came out pretty nice!

Finished a few more, hopefully these images give a better idea of the look I was going for. Hopefully they give off a Reikland vibe, the decals should help.

Don't think i've posted any of my Fallout stuff on here yet, as far as I recall. With the upcoming amazon series coming out and the FO factions game I find my interest in it returning. Some of this stuff I had completed over a year ago. Still have the rest of the Institute core box to do along with the Nira robot.

Supposedly there will be a plastic Brotherhood of Steel box coming out at some point which i'm sure i'll pick up.

"But me no buts! Our comrades get hurt. Our friends die. Falkenburg is a knight who swore an oath to serve the church and to defend the weak. He'd be the first to tell you to stop puling and start planning. Because what we are doing-at risk to ourselves-is what we have sworn to do. The West relies on us. It is a risk we take with pride. It is an oath we honour. Even when some soft southern burgher mutters about us, we know the reason he sleeps soft and comfortable, why his wife is able to complain about the price of cabbages as her most serious problem and why his children dare to throw dung and yell "Knot" when we pass. It's because we are what we are. For all our faults we stand for law and light.

The kit box only says it has a wingspan of 169mm and length of 95mm, around 3.7 inches from nose to tail.

The cockpit isn't very detailed.. all the windows are transfer decals which were fiddly to apply but I sealed them in with a paint on gloss varnish then AKI ultra matte, should be durable enough for a shelf piece.
