Don't mind if I do... attached is the PowerPoint to kick off session 0.
Day 1: Each team sent 1 player to each of the following: Titan Battle 1v1 (2 battles going at the same time. We used BT Alpha Strike... such a good ruleset and such a cheap game to get kids into. Undercity 1v1v1v1 fight for the Relic (this was with Inquisitors, who after each battle got to add someone to their retinue, giving strategm like minor perks... and we tracked some campaign stats), and then a company-ish scaled 1v1 fight with one of the other Ordos.
Day 2: Everyone rotated to a different table, someone else took over a refreshed new battle in the next section of the Undercity, BT battles rotated for different matchups, ditto with 40k "big" battle. Inquisitors filled out their retinues, reinforcements (roughly a squad) joined the larger fights... but this came with an opportunity cost.
Choices of factions to join the Ordos... Raven Guard, Dark Angels, Renegade Marines, Black Templars, Ultramarines, commitment-free local Guard units (2 of them, rivals from a concurrent civil war), Mechanicus.
Ordo Malleus joined with the Black Templars
Xenos brought on the Raven Guard
Hereticus brought in the Renegades (who made dark promises of proscribed options... which players who knew the lore was pretty sure would be Khorne... but Hereticus team was fine playing the radicals)
Thorians allied with the Dark Angels
Days 3: Last rotation, last matchup scramble... more reinforcements from the allies at the end... turns out the Renegades brought in their Tau handlers!
Day 4 & 5... BT players drafted their own new units for a 1v1v1v1 battle royale and started their 2 day battle... Undercity and Company forces were joined in one 4-table struggle to be the King of the Hill using rail lines and powered-down gun pieces (unfortunately, I didn't have time to paint the trains... apologies)
End game: Thorians and Hereticus joined forces to try and force a way onto the platform to head to the Starport... which the "Titan" battles did leave in their control. But Malleus paid a steep price to wrest the Relic away and ended the event in control of a contested platform but without a way off planet. Tons of fun. Heretics won the Titan battle and got second in the 40k fight, so they scored a minor victory with Malleus coming in last in the Titan fight, but having the Relic... so coming in second with a minor victory too. Xenos were excellent allies to their Malleus friends... but one of the three Thorian commanders was emotionally unfit and suffered from a serious sour grapes/scorched earth/pity party syndrome, and made the possibility of a major win unreachable for the Hereticus when he was unhappy with the narrative twists his teammates and allies made.
All in all, great time had by us 3 volunteers and all but 1 of the participants... Prizes were Guardsmen posed as "first into the fray", "morale officer", "dead eye" etc, and we gave out the last half of our Warhammer Alliance materials and had a parallel painting contest (Warhammer Alliance was awesome!!) that one of the Heretics generals won too (everyone got to pick 1 best of show and she received 7 of 12 votes)
