I haven't seen anyone talk about it, but recently several of my FLGS have the new Blood and Plunder Raise the Black Boxed sets out.

Ships and figures are now plastics, and they have Blackbeard and Lt Maynard.

Played this game in skirmish level with a couple of squads and a ship, but never to the level of boarding actions and this level of game.

This does look good, and rare for ships in this scale to be on a table.
Have seen before, but a bit of a pain to get here.

I am awaiting for my KS fulfilment.

I have a set I got a few weeks ago but haven't opened it yet. Not really into the game but I want to use for some RPGs.

Just picked up a plastic sloop to add to my collection from MM. It took an awfully long time for the KS to begin shipping, I'm kind of glad I didn't get involved in it.

Ship detail is nice, but I actually kind of like the resin-and-wood versions they had previously. The plastic version has some interesting extra detail - an actual stern cabin, anchors and tiller, though.

Unfortunately, don't know when I'll get a chance to actually play, so my English buccaneers are just waiting for now.
