Blood and Skulls Industry, fine makers of weapons and accessories for GW vehicles is closing June 30.

All good things must come to an end…
It’s hard to believe it’s been 15 years since I started Blood & Skulls Industry and it’s been a wild ride thanks to all of you. But it’s time for me to move on to other adventures and so I am announcing that we will be closing as of Friday June 30th.
Business is still good but between my real job as an engineer, the volunteer work restoring lighthouses, the Michigan lighthouse merchandising business I run with my wife, and now grandkids there are just too many irons in the fire. I will, however, keep this FB site around for the time being to cover other hobby projects such as the completion of the Land Train.
Now as for what will happen to all the great products from Blood & Skulls Industry that remains to be seen. I’m hoping that either they are picked up by another established casting company or perhaps a young upstart much like myself from so long ago will take up the task. But if they fade off into the sunset that is fine too, it’s been a good run.
So the clock has started. I will warn you that we will not be making any new molds going forward so items may be removed from the store if the casts are no longer of the quality we’re known for, so get them while you can!
Thanks again to all of you.

Damn, I never bought stuff from them but they were big in the early Heresy days. I remember seeing the conversion kits when TemplarCrusade01 was doing their big Heresy campaign.

I've been considering getting more Mechanoid Legs - guess I need to pull the trigger!

Never bought from them but that's a very fine set of model parts they've got. I really hope they can find a buyer to take on the masters and moulds and keep up production.

It's a rare case of someone actually retiring due to their own volition and without being forced to by economical circumstances, so the chances of that aren't that low actually - unlike other cases, nobody here is forced to flog all sorts of stuff for scrap value ASAP, which means there is ample time to discuss things with interested parties.

Damn, only bought from them once (because shipping to the UK is utterly insane) but they've always had fantastic stuff. Now I need to decide whether to pull the trigger on an order or wait and see what happens to their stock, see if someone with better distribution channels picks it up...

Even if these stars align there will certainly be a gap of months or more, so I think the advice of order early still stands.

Oh, absolutely, there's no guarantee for anything in this, if you want specific parts better to order them in the coming weeks, everything after that is playing the lottery.

I have bought a number of items from Tom and I highly recommend the quality of his items. The spiked tracks look epic on my multiple fellblades. Unfortunately, the cost of p&p to the UK has stopped me from purchasing anything recently.
Good luck Tom for the future 👍🏻

I've seen lots of shops disappear over the years but of all the many reasons I've heard "too busy restoring lighthouses and playing with grandkids" has to be the best.

I noticed today they sell side tracks for Leman Russes, just the thing if you bought GW's new 1 1/2 tank kit.

And look who's back with an exciting new release!

CHOO! CHOO! The Land Train is complete!
Over 32 inches long (almost a full meter!) and weighing in at 7 pounds of resin. This 28mm scale Land Train comprises of the Engine along with a Troop Car, Flak Car, and War Car. Each outfitted with weapons galore.
I know many of you have been patient, some for almost a decade now as this project chugged along. But the masters are complete, the molds made, and production under way. The first one will be going up for auction this Wednesday with a very limited quantity for sale soon after. The auction will help establish a price so no orders until after then.
All aboard the Land Train! 🚂🩸💀⚙️
UPDATE: The Land Train is now up for auction!

Doesn't an auction result in increasing the price until only one person is willing to pay that maximum? Seems like a bad way to establish a baseline price.

It looks quite high quality, but at the same time has the Armorcast directly scaled up from epic feel to the guns and details vs the Forge World taking inspiration from the epic scale but redesigning it to look functional at full scale.

Still would be cool to see on the table.

True but the only other full sized Land Train I know is from Ramshakle and looked less detailed. So if you've always wanted one this is your option.

And with Mantic and the AoS Sky Dwarves it's easy to fill with stunties even if you don't like the Lands of Voltron.
