Hopefully I'll get a new "I'm a Backer" avatar out of it.

I'll never buy any Atillans at this rate.

Really looking forward to this and having digital download makes it so much easier than shipping from Australia or the US

My physical halfling snipers from the last KS were produced in the Netherlands.

Part of the info from the previous KS. I'm sure a rep from Victoria's Miniatures will correct me if the same doesn't apply for Warhorse.

Up until now, all Victoria Miniatures have all been made and shipped by Trenchworx in Utah USA. Their skilled team will be manufacturing and fulfilling the USA and Canadian pledges.

I am very pleased to be bringing into this project the master Miniature makers at De Tinnen Roos in the Netherlands. They will be making master molds and fulfilling EU and UK pledges. Sio-Cast expert Ramon Jahn has also provided Sio-cast training in Australia and the USA to ensure consistency.

In Australia, Aetherworks will be manufacturing and fulfilling Australian and New Zealand pledges. Anyone in the Australasian region who has participated in a CMON Kickstarter will be familiar with their excellent fulfillment services.

Test casts of the horses were also made in the Netherlands, I saw this on Facebook. Not a fan of Trenchworx any more myself, their previous casts for Victoria have been disappointingly horrible, so if EU casts are made anywhere but there, might consider backing.

Bad paint jobs on me. The Netherlands produced figures were ace.

One of the squad's barrels was a bit droopy but nothing about the siocast material is making me not consider some Praetorian Rough Rider proxies.

I like the poses, much more dynamic than the Brand X models I've seen.

Hi BrookM.
If you have received any unsatisfactory casts from us. Please contact admin@victoriaminiatures.com with the details. We are always happy to help out.

Thanks for posting a thread about Project Warhorse.
I've been working on this for many, many months and am thrilled that the Kickstarter launch is getting closer.
I'll try to answer any questions you have.

Yes, manufacture and fulfillment will follow that same model we pioneered with the Halfling Sniper Kickstarter: We were able to manufacture identical products simultaneously in three locations: USA, Netherlands and Australia.
This means your Rough Rider miniatures will be manufactured, packed and shipped from a location as close to you as possible.
Trenchworx USA: For many years their skilled team have manufactured and shipped Victoria Miniatures. They will be manufacturing and fulfilling the American and Canadian pledges.
De Tinnen Roos EU/UK: Expert Miniature makers in the Netherlands will be making master molds and fulfilling EU and UK pledges.
Aetherworks Australia: Their team in Sydney will be manufacturing and fulfilling Australian and New Zealand pledges.

The horses will be molded in Siocast Hard thrmoplastic. The smaller components will be 3D printed. There will also be a digital option.

Ramon previewed out first Siocast horses at UKGE, where we received some very good feedback.
I'll keep adding updates to Insta and FB as we go, and check in here too. If you can follow the pre-launch page on Kickstarter that would be great. The more followers we have the more visible the campaign will be to potential backers. Thanks heaps, V

These look really good, especially the horses! I prefer them to the GW Rough Riders.

I've looked at buying stuff from Vic a few times before, but I always seem to get put off by shipping costs. Maybe this is the time where I take the plunge.

Yeah, those all look amazing.
But beard/beret/cape/shock-lance in top right is especially good imo

The Kickstarter models will be produced in the Netherlands for UK/ Europe pledgers so postage is excellent.

It's a shame about buying from the online store. My early Victoria Miniatures purchases often came with free postage for a big enough spend and once made it to the UK from Australia within ten days. As long as UK Customs didn't get involved that is.

They look great but I hope it isn’t cast lances, bought some rough raider conversion kits of Victoria minis before and the the whole Lance was resin and no matter how many times you straightened it it bent again, left the models in sunlight and they all drooped. Much better if you can use brass rod.

Ps no idea how strong, brittle, bending printer resin is so may not be an issue but can imagine a tougher resin just snapping and not bending.

The hardest part will be to decide which ones to take...

Cool that you produce in Europe. I bought a lot of Victoria stuff before and that makes it again more accessible.

Hi, we have put quite a bit or RnD into the lances for the reasons you mentioned. The lances will all be printed. This means they will be strong, straight, and hard to break. You have to bend it almost back on its self to get a bend or snap.

The horse look great. I wish there were classic hussars though. (I.e. ones with ornate jackets and pelisses and big fur hats.)

They are wonderful models, and far better than the recent GW efforts. Going to be hard to resist pledging for this one

Thanks for the reply, the models look amazing and well done on addressing the droopy Lance issue. I will watch this eagerly.

They look great. I was wondering how the Ranger torso cloak would pan out.

Speaking of torsos.. any chance for a Ranger heavy weapons crew? Kneeling legs with the current torsos are tricky.
