I have decided to buy the new leviathan box and start a space marine army. I have settled on Blood Angels and I this Space Wolf model just collecting dust. Removing all the wolf bits was not an easy task. The pelt was the trickiest bit. A cut off the wolf and managed to find an stl for a tiger's head. A little shrink and it fit well enough. Some green stuff and some fur sculpting helped weld the pieces together. I was going to go with a snow leopard with a white pelt but it didn't feel very byzantine. So I shaded it with some browns and yellows to make it more of a jaguar. Very Mediterranean.

I'm not sure what to run him as. Either a captain, a lieutenant or a champion. Let me tell, don't build models a month before a new edition drops. Two melee weapons is still legal but not a great choice.

As usual, I am happy to hear any critiques or compliments you may have and a gallery vote is always welcome.

Ask yourself: have you rated a gallery image today?

Lovely stuff, impressive work carving off all the wolf iconography

Rules-wise, you could probably run him as a Company Champion, he certainly looks like a combat beast
